We’ve been waiting a long time for a future to arrive in which everything just happens at the snap of a finger – and now, in the form of Smart House, we’re a click closer. At Zajno, though, we care not just about ease but also about satisfying visual feedback – which was what got us thinking about a slider animation for air humidity adjustments.  

Actually, the thought behind this animation came out of our earlier icon animation design. This time, though, as you move the slider, bubbles with numbers appear from it, indicating the percentage of humidity to be set.

This was all done exclusively in Abode After Effects using a combination of simple modifiers, morphing, and shape color animation. Big thanks to Vladislav, who worked with me on the design.
